finally i got my annual leaves.. n finally i got the time to blog..

i was so busy with work, friends and family. so happy that i got a break after so many months of working life.. ok talking abt my work, on my last day b4 i went for my AL i managed to scrub up for mandiblectomy with pectroal flap. though i only managed to assist on the last part, i think i did quite a good job. yes!!

friends now.. jus went to one of my primary sch friend ROM.. so sweet!! so bless!! pictures will tell u everythings..

after so many days of misery i think i should share one interesting story..

there was a period of time i kept going to sgh gym after work and happened that i always saw this guy who also went to sgh gym quite often.. but after i started my shift duty, i have stopped going for a long period of time..

at a particular sat while i am on my way to work we actually passed by each other near sgh compound.. we stared for quite sumtime and looking at his facial expression he looked quite stunt.. but the story dun jus end here..

during one of the weekday at work in operating theatre.. while i am going off for my lunch break, i actually saw him again.. but i dun think he could recognise me cause i am wearing a mask.. i was so surprised n puzzled why he was there!! anyway, again the story dun jus end here..

usually sat in theatre will be a housekeeping day.. so we will be assign to clean theatres, top up of goods and wash of trolleys.. at first i was depolyed to clean theatre R5 but R5 was closed for renovation so i ended up washing trolleys.. while collecting the trolleys from all the 22 theatre, guess wat i saw him again!!!!!!! can u believed it!!!!!!

when i entered from theatre L5 disposal room he was standing right in front of me.. this time round i am not wearing a mask so he should be able to see me.. but he was wearing one so i could not really see his reaction.. i am shock!! really shock!! but of course i still acted as normal in front of him.. i believed he should be some IT technician ppl cause he was trying to do something to the computer in e theatre.. haha again again the story dun jus end here!!

after going to theatre L5 i went to L6, i saw him again la!! so scary!! he even wanted to ofter me help to push the trolleys but i turn him down n said 'is ok'..

heehee finally the story ends..

something very bad really happened.. i am sad.. my life will start to be tough.. but life still goes on.. i hope i will be stronge enough to face it..

i am so angry!! very angry!! super angry!! as usual i went to sgh gym n run.. some stupid idiot cleaner stole my money away!! 40bucks!! lucky that stupid cleaner didnt steal my wallet..


wat a bad day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my 40bucks!!! i want it back!!!

my three days of night was horrible!!

first night: trauma case rushed in at ard 2 plus am..all discipline were involved in the operation and operation last till 9 plus am..

second night: second night was better no trauma case rush in.. but most of the e-cases that came in were from my discipline.. haix scrub non stop!! one after another..

third night: one trauma case.. car hit and run!! but still ok cause our discipline was not involed.. however, we have two kidneys n one liver transplant to do over the night.. because of this some of my seniors got called back to work in the middle of the night.. two of my seniors who were from the transplant team actually went over to NUH and harvest the liver.. the rest of us to prepare the theatre.. heehee i really got a fruitful night cause as a junior i am consider soooooooo lucky to encounter all this.. though i didnt manage to circulate for the liver transplant, i got the chance to circulate for the kidney transplant.. i am so happy!! my next challenge- kidney transplant :)

today the op room i am in finished it lists quite early n that was so unusual.. anyway, because of that i have a emergency case coming into my theatre n that was a caesarean section which usually done in a gynae & obstetric theatre.. actually i am quite scare cause i never see it before.. i should say i rather see human organs than baby coming out from the human stomach..

when we were expecting the baby, i actually stood behind my senior!! the funny thing was i also dunno why i am so scare as if i am the mother delivering the baby.. haha :)

i woke up early today and i started baking muffin.. but my muffin got a bit out of shape cause my muffin tray lost..dunno where my sis kept it!! anyway thank to cheryl recipe!!

after so many weeks of working, i am feeling the stress again!! i cant really slept well last night.. i'm so afraid for the coming week cause from next week onward i will have more responsibility in term of work.. i am no longer the extra stuff in op room but someone who gotta function independently.. i'm so scare!! so scare that i will disappoint my senior n myself.. hopfully it will turn out to be good..

HAPPY NURSES' DAY..

ok.. my wish came true!! i actually srcub a liver resection last fri.. that was my first time seeing a liver!! actually human liver look exactlly like pig liver.. jus that ours is bigger haha!!

n guess wat!! i assisted a gastrectomy today.. i stood for straight 5hrs!! even after i went home at 6pm, the operation was still on.. that was really crazy!! although the main surgeon was extremely fierce, the assisting surgeons were quite nice.. they really help me a laods.. hope i can do better for my next gastrectomy..

i think i am crazy.. really crazy!!

haha not be posting for very long.. i guess the only reason was because i am really busy!! after all OT was not as bad as wat i thought.. but it is still a very stressful place to work in!! i am so tired this week.. a horrible week for me!! i actually got fever on mon then on top of that i got flu and cough from tue onward.. terrible terrible!!

after few weeks of hardwork, i finally managed to srcub an operation on my own.. laparoscopic anterior resection!! although this was not a very major operation, i am really happy that i didnt make much mistake.. my next target --> liver resection!! all the best lo :)

i am looking forward to national day..

last sat while i am doing my routine housekeeping wif this particular senior staff nurse, she was gosipping happily in front of me abt her preceptee wif another senior staff nurse from another discipline.. n jus happened that i know her preceptee.. i really dunno wat to say!! although they didnt say something that was very bad but they were just sarcastic.. haix life is real bad :(
